The Snail / Speedy vertical iron can replace any iron, to make it suitable for vertical ironing.

A heating element is built into the soleplate of the iron. The vertical iron features a dual-touch microswitch steam button which will allow the operator to select continuous or button-operated steam supply. The ergonomic handle allows for a far more comfortable use than any other vertical iron on the market. Equipped with a cloth-covered mono tube containing both the electric and steam cables, which will reduce the risk of damaging the cables. The microswitch is mounted centrally for use with either right or left-handed use. The heat of the vertical iron is controlled by the thermostat, which is pre-set to optimum temperature.

Steaming, brushing, refreshing. Removes shine, creases and some dirt (e.g. threads, dust). It arranges the naps and gives final fresh view of clothes and upholstery furniture. Perfect for velvet and others fabrics with naps. Thanks to its special microswitch construction it can be used either right or left-handed. You will get the highest temperature and the industrial quality ironing when it connects to the steam source (any steam generator or central steam source).

All prices include VAT, postage, packaging, and delivery within the UK mainland. If your delivery address is outside the mainland, we will contact you to confirm any additional shipping costs before dispatch.

Dispatch Times

We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, often on the same day. Some Speedy Press products—particularly our in-house manufactured units—are made to order and may require 1–3 days before dispatch. If there are unexpected stock shortages or delays beyond our control, we will keep you updated and advise of any extended lead times. (You always retain the right to cancel for a full refund.)

If Your Order Arrives Damaged

If your item arrives in less than perfect condition, please contact us immediately so we can take it up with the carrier and arrange a replacement. If the outer box is damaged on arrival, please note this on the delivery acceptance form.

Right to Cancel

You may cancel your order for any reason up to 30 days after ordering. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and issue a full refund. If your order has been dispatched, you will need to return the product to us in its original packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition. Refunds for returned items are made minus postage costs. Returned goods must be received within 30 days of the original order date.

1. Will it do shirts? Yes, shirts are amazingly easy. Once you have learned the technique, an everyday shirt can be ironed in 1 or 2 minutes. 2. Is it quicker than normal ironing? Yes, most users report that it saves them half or more of their normal ironing time. 3. Is it easy to use? Yes. Customers report that after a short period, it is very easy and convenient to use. 4. Do you iron sitting down or standing up? This ironing press is designed to be used sitting down. 5. What about complicated items? Anything that is difficult with an iron is still difficult on a press, but with a bit of practice and the use of the pads provided, you can iron most items. 6. Is it heavy? It weights 19.2kg. Most people find this to be a reasonable weight to pick up and put on the table. 7. Does the Speedypress Commercial C90 Press use a lot more energy than a normal iron? No, the Speedypress Commercial C90 Press uses very little energy, about the same as a normal iron in overall hourly running costs. 8. Does it take up a lot of room? The Speedypress Commercial C90 easily folds for easy storage. 9. How long will it last? The Speedypress Commercial C90 Press is very well made and should last many years, depending on use and care. 10. Does it need any maintenance? Apart from wiping the heating plate after use and occasionally replacing the ironing covers and foam underfelt pads, there is no maintenance required.
