Longarm Quilting needles with a round point for precise penetration; the needle’s special scarf makes sure the thread is picked up easily and skipped stitches are avoided even with frequent changes of direction by the needle during quilting; for quilting with special long arm machines.

The Longarm Quilting needle is suitable for quilting with special longarm machines. It has been specially designed for multi-directional sewing.

This needle's hallmark feature is its long and deep special scarf, which makes it easier for the thread to be picked up. This prevents skipped stitches during the frequent changes of direction made while quilting.

The deep thread groove guarantees optimum protection for the sewing thread, resulting in less untwisting and, in turn, a better seam appearance.

With its acute point, the needle ensures precise penetration. This creates quilting lines that are particularly precise and straight.

The SCHMETZ Longarm Quilting needle (135x5 MR system) is a special round shank needle for quilting on longarm machines.

Due to their round shank, Longarm Quilting needles only fit into special longarm quilting machines (e.g. by APQS, Baby Lock, Gammill, Grace Company, Handi Quilter, Innova, Juki etc.). Therefore, please consult your operating instructions to see whether your machine is compatible with one of the following needle systems: 135x5, 134, DPx5, SY 1955. These needles are not suitable for “normal” household sewing machines.

Dispatch Times

We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, often on the same day. Some Speedy Press products—particularly our in-house manufactured units—are made to order and may require 1–3 days before dispatch. If there are unexpected stock shortages or delays beyond our control, we will keep you updated and advise of any extended lead times. (You always retain the right to cancel for a full refund.)

If Your Order Arrives Damaged

If your item arrives in less than perfect condition, please contact us immediately so we can take it up with the carrier and arrange a replacement. If the outer box is damaged on arrival, please note this on the delivery acceptance form.

Right to Cancel

You may cancel your order for any reason up to 30 days after ordering. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and issue a full refund. If your order has been dispatched, you will need to return the product to us in its original packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition. Refunds for returned items are made minus postage costs. Returned goods must be received within 30 days of the original order date.

The Speedypress Commercial C90 Press is very well made and should last many years, depending on use and care. 10. Does it need any maintenance? Apart from wiping the heating plate after use and occasionally replacing the ironing covers and foam underfelt pads, there is no maintenance required.
