Black Super Stretch needles with a medium ball point; eye and thread groove are wider; the non-stick coating ensures better glideability and the special blade design helps to reduce needle breakage and skipped stitches; for sensitive highly elastic stretch fabrics such as lingerie fabrics.

Delicate stretch fabrics and knitted fabrics often place high demands on the needle when sewing, which standard needles cannot always cope with. The Black Super Stretch needle with its special properties is a great alternative.

The gliding nonstick coating ensures gentle handling of delicate fabrics. In combination with the wide eye and widened thread groove, it also prevents thread tearing - even for thicker threads.

The shank is flatter than on other needles but still has the same diameter. The needle is therefore closer to the hook in order to prevent skipped stitches.

The special shape of the needle blade ensures elastic fabrics can be sewn without any problems, reducing needle breakage and skipped stitches.

The threads in knitted and woven fabrics are pushed aside by the medium ball point, which prevents the material from being damaged.

The Black Super Stretch needle can be used on all conventional household sewing machines (e.g. Bernina, Elna, Juki, Janome, Husqvarna, Singer, W6 etc.).

The Black Line was named after its black non-stick coating, which reduces adhesive residue on the needle and ensures that the needle glides better. New products are the Black Super Stretch needle (HAx1 SP SU) and the Black Super Fine needle (130/705 H-SU XS). The Super Universal needle already available in the range is now called “Black” Super Universal needle.

Dispatch Times

We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, often on the same day. Some Speedy Press products—particularly our in-house manufactured units—are made to order and may require 1–3 days before dispatch. If there are unexpected stock shortages or delays beyond our control, we will keep you updated and advise of any extended lead times. (You always retain the right to cancel for a full refund.)

If Your Order Arrives Damaged

If your item arrives in less than perfect condition, please contact us immediately so we can take it up with the carrier and arrange a replacement. If the outer box is damaged on arrival, please note this on the delivery acceptance form.

Right to Cancel

You may cancel your order for any reason up to 30 days after ordering. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and issue a full refund. If your order has been dispatched, you will need to return the product to us in its original packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition. Refunds for returned items are made minus postage costs. Returned goods must be received within 30 days of the original order date.

1. Will it do shirts? Yes, shirts are amazingly easy. Once you have learned the technique, an everyday shirt can be ironed in 1 or 2 minutes. 2. Is it quicker than normal ironing? Yes, most users report that it saves them half or more of their normal ironing time. 3. Is it easy to use? Yes. Customers report that after a short period, it is very easy and convenient to use. 4. Do you iron sitting down or standing up? This ironing press is designed to be used sitting down. 5. What about complicated items? Anything that is difficult with an iron is still difficult on a press, but with a bit of practice and the use of the pads provided, you can iron most items. 6. Is it heavy? It weights 19.2kg. The Speedypress Commercial C90 easily folds for easy storage. 9. How long will it last? The Speedypress Commercial C90 Press is very well made and should last many years, depending on use and care. 10. Does it need any maintenance? Apart from wiping the heating plate after use and occasionally replacing the ironing covers and foam underfelt pads, there is no maintenance required.
