Special Features: Special flat shank. Reinforced blade. Wider and shorter eye. Wider thread groove. Special transition from the scarf to the eye.
Feature: Special point universal needles. Chrome-plated with a reinforced blade. Has a medium ball point and is mainly for stretch and other elastic materials. Has a longer and wider eye than the normal Universal needle, which makes the needle suitable for thicker sewing or embroidery thread.

A carton contains 20 packets of needles, with 5 needles per packet for a total of 100 needles.

The Super Stretch Needle is suitable for use with thicker threads.
It is also suitable for sewing lingerie or bras, as the blade reinforcement helps to prevent needle breakage.
The Super Stretch Needle is more hard-wearing.

The SCHMETZ Super Stretch Needle is closer to the hook due to the special flat shank. The special design in the scarf area also creates a larger needle thread loop, which is more easily grabbed by the hook. These features prevent skipped stitches even with highly elastic fabrics. The reinforced blade helps to reduce needle breakage and achieves particularly straight stitches. The wider and shorter eye, combined with a wider thread groove, means that the Super Stretch Needles can be used with thicker sewing threads. This places less stress on the threads so that they no longer break.

The medium ball point is suitable for all types of knitted fabric, because it displaces the loops, thus preventing damage to the material. Instead of nickel, the needle has a chrome plating and is more resistant to abrasion. These needles can be identified quickly and easily as special needles by the white coloured ring on the shoulder of the Super Stretch Needle.

The Super Stretch Needles can be used in all household sewing machines that require the 130/705 H needle system, as well as in some overlock machines (more information is available in the user manual). Due to its characteristics, the Super Stretch Needle is an alternative to the Stretch Needle when sewing with thicker threads.

Dispatch Times

We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, often on the same day. Some Speedy Press products—particularly our in-house manufactured units—are made to order and may require 1–3 days before dispatch. If there are unexpected stock shortages or delays beyond our control, we will keep you updated and advise of any extended lead times. (You always retain the right to cancel for a full refund.)

If Your Order Arrives Damaged

If your item arrives in less than perfect condition, please contact us immediately so we can take it up with the carrier and arrange a replacement. If the outer box is damaged on arrival, please note this on the delivery acceptance form.

Right to Cancel

You may cancel your order for any reason up to 30 days after ordering. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and issue a full refund. If your order has been dispatched, you will need to return the product to us in its original packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition. Refunds for returned items are made minus postage costs. Returned goods must be received within 30 days of the original order date.

1. Will it do shirts? Yes, shirts are amazingly easy. Once you have learned the technique, an everyday shirt can be ironed in 1 or 2 minutes. 2. Is it quicker than normal ironing? Yes, most users report that it saves them half or more of their normal ironing time. 3. Is it easy to use? Yes. Customers report that after a short period, it is very easy and convenient to use. 4. Do you iron sitting down or standing up? This ironing press is designed to be used sitting down. 5. What about complicated items? Anything that is difficult with an iron is still difficult on a press, but with a bit of practice and the use of the pads provided, you can iron most items. 6. Is it heavy? It weights 19.2kg. Most people find this to be a reasonable weight to pick up and put on the table. 7. Does the Speedypress Commercial C90 Press use a lot more energy than a normal iron? No, the Speedypress Commercial C90 Press uses very little energy, about the same as a normal iron in overall hourly running costs. 8. Does it take up a lot of room? The Speedypress Commercial C90 easily folds for easy storage. 9. How long will it last? The Speedypress Commercial C90 Press is very well made and should last many years, depending on use and care. 10. Does it need any maintenance? Apart from wiping the heating plate after use and occasionally replacing the ironing covers and foam underfelt pads, there is no maintenance required.
